Long-Form Content

Long-form content mode is an advanced feature that takes a raw idea through a structured pipeline to produce full-length content like YouTube scripts, newsletters, or blog posts.

Enabling Long-Form

Long-form content is a feature-flagged capability. It must be enabled on your account (via the features field in the user record). When enabled, you'll see a content mode choice when creating a new post.

Content Types

The Pipeline

Long-form posts progress through stages, each powered by AI:

1. Idea

Start with your raw brain dump — the same way you'd create a short-form post.

2. Titles

AI generates multiple title options. Review them and select the one that fits your direction.

3. Outlines

Based on your selected title, AI generates structured outlines — each with section headings and bullet points. Pick the outline that best maps your content.

4. Script

AI expands your selected outline into a full script or article body. Multiple variants are generated for you to choose from.

5. Hook

Finally, AI generates attention-grabbing hooks — the opening lines designed to capture your audience. Select the hook that hits hardest.

6. Complete

The post is ready for final review. You can edit any part of the generated content before publishing.

How Stages Work

Each stage stores its outputs in the post record:

• generatedTitles / selectedTitle
• generatedOutlines / selectedOutline
• generatedScripts / selectedScript
• generatedHooks / selectedHook

You progress forward by making a selection at each stage, but you can go back and regenerate any previous stage.
